Pocket God iPhone App
Pocket God has been in the top 25 iTunes Apps list for ages, and recently I decided to get it.
I have to be honest, even after playing with it for quite a while I still don’t *really* get what it is all about. But still, I do think it is an app worth getting.
You are the God of a group of people, and control various things on their island. It isn’t anything like The Sims though. You can pick them up, move them about, and “activate” things. For example, pick up and drop a large purple egg enough times and its mother dinosaur will come to the island and start to eat your people. So pick up a stick and give it to one of them and they will fight back.
There is no way to win or lose at this game. Any time any of your people die, you can just click the + button and they appear again.
The graphics are great, and it is something you can pass time on. But don’t expect to spend hours (or even more than 10 mins…) playing this, as you quickly run out of things to do. But it is still a great fun app, I recommend it!
