Need for speed undercover on iphone and ipod touch
Need For Speed is a well loved and well known game for consoles and PC, but it has recently made the move to the iPhone with Need For Speed Undercover.
The game is played sideways, and the controls are great. You turn the iPhone/iPod left & right to steer, and to drift you turn it to the left/right and also backwards (easier to do than explain!)
There are lots of races spread over three cities. There are a few main race modes but most revolve around racing other cars, or destroying other cars (cops or fellow racers).
There is a story to the Need For Speed Undercover, which is essentially the same as the Xbox 360 version – you are an undercover cop sent in to infiltrate the street racing scene. There are videos every few races to help with the story, but after a couple I just skipped them. The game is fun for the racing, not the story!
Actually game play is great. This is at the moment the only game I play when in ques, waiting for a train etc. I love it.
