Fieldrunners iPhone/iPod Touch App
Fieldrunners has become one of the most popular iPhone / iPod touch apps out there. It seems everyone I know who owns and iPhone or iPod touch owns it. And for good reason – its a really fun game!
The basic idea is that you have a base to defend, and enemies to kill. The maps are set out so the enemies come from one side of the screen, and you base is the other.
To defend your base and kill the enemy, you can build various gun turrets. Each “round” sends harder enemy units to kill, and you must keep building or upgrading your defenses.
Gameplay is fun, and the controls are easy and responsive. It saves where you left off too, so even if you play for only a minute or two you don’t lose your progress.
It is a great strategy game, and one of my favorites. I can play this for hours (the screenshots show only round 20 as I started a new game recently on it!)
